Purpose: To establish robust continuity and recovery strategies, assisting our customers for minimal service disruption and swift recovery in crisis scenarios.
Scope: This plan focuses on supporting our client-hosted on-premise software solution, FDS.
Section 1: Risk Assessment and Impact Analysis
Risk Identification: We analyze and assess potential risks such as software vulnerabilities, server disruptions, and human error on an bi-annual basis.
Section 2: Key Business Areas and Dependencies
Software Maintenance and Updates: We profile bi-annual updates to FDS and assist in the installation of these updates according to your contract with us.
Client Support and Liaison: We provide a liaison in contracts and escalation channels in your contract with us.
Internal Operations: We internally maintain measures for ensuring the continuity of internal administrative, financial, and HR functions.
Section 3: Prevention and Mitigation Strategies
Client Education and Training: We offer regular training and resources to client teams for managing hosted solutions effectively.
Physical and Data Security Measures: We safeguard assets such as DataPoint, however these servers do not contain personal information.
Section 4: Incident Response Plan
Incident Management Team: We have an established technical and management team for managing different types of incidents.
Communication Strategy: We have clear communications via MS Teams and internal email and phone if needed during a crisis.
Resource Management: The executive team is tasked with allocation and management of resources during an incident.
Section 5: Recovery Strategies and Procedures
Client Assistance Framework: We have protocols in place in our contracts to assist client teams in restoring hosted solutions. This is not DETECTsystem’s task for on premise solutions however we understand the importance of the application and work with our customers to get systems back online.
Section 6: Plan Testing, Maintenance, and Training
Continuous Improvement: We update this plan based on testing outcomes and evolving business needs.
Employee and Client Training: We provide training to both employees and client teams.Section 7: Review and Continuous Improvement
Annual Review: We conduct an annual review of this BCP for relevance, effectiveness and suitability for our business.
